Our Design course offers an insight to what design is. The course teaches deep workings of design software’s such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Students will be taught how to create designs for purposes such as advertising, web design or graphic design.

In this course, you will learn

Typography

Typography is a critical skill to every designer. This aspect will give teach what typography is and the important role it plays in graphic design. Students will be taught a brief theory aspect, the various typographic designs and advance into practice

Logotype Design

This aspect teaches using tools to create typographic systems for this how dynamic logotypes are made. Students will be taken through the creative process and will learn how to create with it. The manipulation of letterforms to create meaningful, dynamic, well crafted word marks will be taught.

Design Systems

Students will be taught how to the Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for personal and professional use. They will learn the workings and peculiarities of each of these design softwares. Here, students will embark on projects that will provide them the opportunity to brainstorm and create designs and communication goals. Here, they will also have the opportunity to build their foundation of their design portfolio

UI/UX design is not excluded.

In our design school, you will also be required to know the basics of HTML. If you are wondering why a designer needs to learn HMTL, it is not to build a whole website from scratch, rather it is to equip the designer with the ability to make minor fixes online.
